Summary At least 12 people including two MQM workers were killed in Karachi on Wednesday.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Target killing and other incidents of violence and firing continued to take innocent lives in the city. Two persons were killed in Indus Plaza in Sohrab Goth and Khuda Ki Basti in Sarjani.


CID Police official Abdullah died when unidentified persons opened firing on his car near Site Valika Chorangi while a man namely Awal Akhtar was shot dead near Dabba Mor in Orangi Town.


In another incident, MQM activists Muhammad Hanif and Akhtar were gunned down near Usmanabad area of Garden.
A woman namely Zuleka died when two rival groups exchange firing near Jona Masjid in Lyari while three people were also injured in exchange of firing in Agra Taj, Alfalah and Hangoorabad. The business activities were suspended in the area after the incident.

 

Two dead bodies were found from Khajoor Bazar in Lee Market and Sarjani while a man namely Asadullah was shot dead near parking plaza in Sadar. A woman namely Shamsheer Bibi was killed in Orangi Town No 1 and 27-year-old Rehan was shot dead in Korangi.


Meanwhile, two persons including a minor girl were injured in Maripur Machar Colony while two others received injuries after firing at MA Jinnah Road near Tibet Centre and a man was injured in firing in Korangi area.
