ISLAMABAD: Bodies of nine tourists killed in Nanga Parbat by unknown militants have been embalmed in order to preserve them for a longer period of time.

 

The bodies will be shifted through C-130 military aircraft to their respective native regions on Thursday.

 

According to details, seven bodies were embalmed at Polyclinic hospital while bodies of two Chinese and an American were embalmed at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

 

The foreign tourists were shot dead by unknown gunmen at a base camp in Gilgit Baltistan in an attack that took place last week.
