Fouzia Kasuri to quit PTI, join PML-N
Imran says women seats were allotted to deserving candidates on merit.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Founder member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to quit the party and join PML-N.
According to sources Fouzia Kasuri was disappointed at the allocation seats reserved for women.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan spoke out about a controversy regarding women elected on reserved seats.
PTI leader Fauzia Kasuri was dejected for not being among those who made it to the Parliament on women reserved seats.
She publicly vented her anger on a famous social media website, igniting heated debate among PTI leaders and supporters.
Khan finally broke his silence on the issue and tweeted, “the senseless controversy over women reserved seats must end. The 2 who made it from Punjab have come on merit.”
