Summary Former Member of the UK’s House of Commons Chaudhry Sarwar may replace Wajid Shamsul Hasan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership held a meeting with former Member of the UK’s House of Commons Chaudhry Sarwar and offered him the post of Pakistan high commissioner to UK.
Pakistan-born Chaudhry Sarwar was the first Muslim member of the British Parliament and was elected thrice as Member of the UK’s House of Commons.
Chaudhry Sarwar is considered a close associated of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif. He will replace Wajid Shamsul Hasan as Pakistan high commissioner to UK.
According to sources, Chaudhry Sarwar was also offered the post of Governor Punjab.
