Summary Sattar and Faisal Sabswari to be parliamentary leaders in NA and Sindh Assembly respectively.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Coordination Committee Wednesday announced that the party would sit on the Opposition benches in Asindh Assembly.
It nominated Faisal Sabswari as parliamentary leader of MQM in Sindh Assembly and Khwaja Izharul Haq will be the deputy parliamentary leader.
It has also been decided that Dr Farooq Sattar will act as parliamentary leader in the National Assembly.
Earlier, addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the MQM leaders condemned the acts of terrorism, saying barbarism is ruling the city.
The MQM again called for an end to extrajudicial detention, kidnapping and killing of its workers in Karachi.
He said, “Our workers are being targeted and tortured”. The MQM leader said it seems that there is no writ of law and order, and constitution in Karachi city.
MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said that three more workers were killed after the death of Ajmal Beg. He said that MQM worker Yasir Iqbal was killed from Shah Faisal on Thursday, May 28.
He alleged that plain clothed men were kidnapping the MQM workers.
The MQM strongly condemned terrorist activities and demanded of the government to arrest the culprits involved in such heinous activities.
He demanded that rulers to take notice of such incidents.
