Summary Sale of rail track remains a serious criminal offence since British era.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A local court in Lahore sentenced three Pakistan Railway (PR) officials to jail in railway track theft case, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Railway Police presented the accused including Faisal Imran, Ghulam Qadir and Akhtar Ali in judicial magistrate’s court.
The court was informed that the accused have stolen railway track worth Rs 240 million and sold it at different places in Lahore.
Police also requested the court to send the accused on physical remand.
