Summary Imran Khan says the PTI is staging sit-in protest for the stability of democracy in the country.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held protest sit-in at D-Chowk against the alleged rigging in the elections
.
Addressing the participants via video link, PTI chief Imran Khan said that the voters took to the streets after the polling because the elections were rigged.
He said the rigging was done on 25 to 30 seats and evidence of all this was reported by media and social media.
Imran said that masses participated in the election with full interest first time in the history of Pakistan. He thanked participants of the protest and said that they were staging the sit-in for the stability of democracy in Pakistan.
He appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the alleged rigging in four constituencies.
PTI leaders Javed Hashmi, Shah Mahmmoed Qureshi also addressed the gathering while Hamid Khan, Khurshid Kasuri, Amjad Niazi, Umar Sarfraz Cheema and other senior leaders were also present on this occasion.
A large number of PTI activists is participating in the sit-in including women and children.
