LAHORE (Dunya News) – American Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson met Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind on Friday.
The US envoy congratulated Nawaz Sharif on the success of his party in May 11 general election and hoped that it will help further strengthen democracy in Pakistan.
He said the US wanted to further strengthen its ties with Pakistan and was willing to help Pakistan overcome the energy crisis.

Nawaz Sharif told him that Pakistan wants to resolve all outstanding issues with India on the basis of equality through dialogue.
