Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Saturday night held a meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain and conveyed him goodwill messages from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.Rehman Malik and Altaf Hussain exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and present political situation in the country during the meeting held at London secretariat of MQM. Both the leaders agreed to work for the stability of the democratic system after resolving all the conflicts between MQM and PPP. Interior Minister lauded Altaf Hussains welcome statement after President Zardaris statement. Malik also briefed MQM chief about ongoing military offensive against terrorists in the country.
