Prime minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has expressed his reservations on increase in the number of allied troops in Afghanistan, saying that it will aggravate the situation and result in militancy.In an interview to a German newspaper, PM Gillani stated that Pakistan has its reservations on America sending more troops in Afghanistan. He also said that ignoring Pakistan in devising an Afghan strategy will result in instability of the region. The West must agree on a collective strategy to counter taliban he added, and stressed that the global community must provide technical assistance to Pakistan . He also said that the world has started to acknowledge the efforts and sacrifices of Pakistan in war against terror.
