Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said that in February, 2008 elections the people of Pakistan had given mandate in favour of the democratic forces of the country. It is now incumbent upon us to come up to the expectations of the people and steer the country out of the present challenges, the Prime Minister said in a statement here today.The Prime Minister said Pakistan People Party believes in reconciliation and accommodating other parties point of view and has always consulted its coalition partners on issues of national importance. The Prime Minister further said that both PPP and MQM have sacrificed a lot for the cause of democracy and hoped that both parties would continue working together in the same spirit. Differences, if any, between two parties, he added will be resolved through dialogue. He said that coalition Government of PPP and MQM in Sindh as well as in the centre shall remain intact and would further strengthen in the times to come.The PM said that every political party had different manifestos and programmes but they share the common objective to work for the welfare of the people and make Pakistan strong, stable and prosperous. He also said it is the beauty of democracy to resolve difference of opinion through dialogue. While on the other side, President Asif Ali Zardari has asked Pakistan Peoples Party ministers not to give statements against MQM while MQM Qaid Altaf Hussain welcomed the decision and instructed MQM leaders to remain careful, reported Dunya News. In a statement issued from London Hussain urged MQM leaders to improve the current bitter situation. Altaf Hussan showed anger on Rabita Committee member Syed Mustafa Aziz Abadis mismanagement. He instructed Mustafa not to issue political statements without the approval of Rabita Committee.
