Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaz Kayani has said that nobody can separate Islam from Pakistan, adding that our elders made this country on the name of Islam, reported Dunya News. Army Chief vowed to restore peace across the country besides strengthening and consolidating it. Earlier, General Ashfaq Pervaz Kayani reached Peshawar on a one-day visit. Corps Commander Lt. General Muhammad Masood welcomed Army Chief at the airport. Army Chief will also go to Army Head Quarters during his visit. General Kayani also visited Leady Reading Hospital to inquire about the health of bomb blasts victims. Strict security measures were taken around Cantt and Leady Reading Hospital while aero-monitoring of these areas is also being done.
