Pakistan Peoples Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan has refuted the news of his becoming the prime minister, reported Dunya News. Ahsan maintained that President can be tried under criminal act when he leaves the office. Talking to media in Islamabad Ahsan opined that corruption and treachery both were serious offenses but treachery was bigger offense than corruption. Law is the same for everyone however it isnt appropriate to accuse someone without evidence, Ahsan added. He suggested that an independent and free institution should be established for accountability. President is exempted from appearing before court under the constitution, he stressed. Aitzaz Ahsan told he was still a suspended member of the Central Executive Committee.
