A passerby was killed while seven others injured including DIG Operations Shahid Nizam Durrani on Speni Road Quetta in front of DIG Office, Dunya News Tuesday reported. Durrani was going to his office from home when a motorcyclist targeted him near DIG office with a remote control bomb planted in a motorcycle. DIG and his driver were partly injured while the vehicle was badly damaged. DIG was discharged from the hospital after treatment and reached his office afterward. Seven other people including four policemen were also hurt in the blast.
