Interior Minister Rehman Malik says that interior ministry has been informed about foreigners involved in weapon display. Malik told the House that mechanism of passport issuance had been toughened. It is not possible to make a fake passport now, he added. The minister claimed that foreigners will not be allowed to display weapons, adding that any violator of the law would be punished. He asserted that Pakistan is an independent country. Malik ruled out existence of Blackwater in Pakistan. He revealed that armed foreigners were released on showing diplomatic documents. The embassy concerned was also informed about it, Malik maintained. Interior Minister told the House that no proposal of forming joint security force to guard Pak-Afghan border was under discussion.
