PPP-MQM meeting: some differences still unresolved:Rehman Malik

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that most of the differences between MQM-PPP have been settled but some issues are yet to be resolved, Dunya News reported on Friday. The government has accelerated efforts to reconcile with its allies and various meetings are being held in this regard. Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Dr. Zulifqar Mirza met with MQM delegation in Dubai today. MQM delegation includes Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad, Anees Qaem Khani, Anwer Ahmed and Babar Gauri. According to sources, the meeting lasted for more than three hours in which both sides expressed their concerns. Overall political situation, local body system, NRO and other issues came under discussion. Sources revealed that MQM has assured it would continue support to the PPP government. PPP said it will continue the politics of consensus and reconciliation.
