Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) parliamentarians took out a protest rally from Parliament House to the Supreme Court against steps taken of November 3, 2007, Dunya News Tuesday reported. The rally was lead by Opposition Leader Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan in which PPP and JUI ministers also participated. PML-N parliamentarians had tied black ribbons on arms and carried placards. They shouted slogans against former president Pervez Musharraf, NRO and 17th amendment. Addressing the protest gathering outside SC, Makhdom Javed Hashmi said that they got judiciary freed and now they would get parliament freed too. We dont want 17th amendment, NRO and Kerry-Lugar Bill, he added. Khawja Saad Rafique said that struggle for judiciarys independence would continue till parliament is freed and presidential authority is cut to size. The protest demanded Musharrafs trial under article 6. Syed Khurshid Shah, Babar Awan, Rehmatullah Kakar and Ayutullah Durrani also attended the protest rally. Separately, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah termed November 3 as a sad and black day in history of Pakistan. Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Sanaullah maintained that NRO had gone and would never be presented in parliament. Minister stressed that his party wasnt in favor of any unconstitutional action or midterm election. He said that PML-N believed Musharraf should be hanged on which PPP also raised slogan that friend of dictator is a traitor.
