Summary A petition has been filed in the LHC seeking cancellation of striking doctors’ licences.
LAHORE: A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court against the Young Doctors Association’s move to go on strike on January 10, if their demands would not be accepted.
The petitioner urged the court to cancel the licences of striking doctors as the doctors had put the lives of patients at risk, which he described as “criminal negligence”. He said the court should take action against them under Sections 300 (murder) and Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
