Ruling and opposition parties meetings called to discuss NRO

The ruling coalition and opposition parties have separately called meetings of their parliamentary parties to discuss NRO in Islamabad on Monday.President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a joint meeting of coalition parties on Monday evening in the presidency. A dinner will also be hosted in honor of coalition parliamentarians by the president after the meeting. According to sources, a strategy would be outlined to get the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) passed from the parliament besides discussing the NRO in the National Assembly session.PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif has summoned all the parliamentarians of his party at 11am on Monday in Punjab House Islamabad. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has also been called in addition to party leaders from all the four provinces on the occasion.PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has also called meeting of the parliamentary party to devise a strategy on NRO at 1pm in his residence today.
