Summary Altaf Hussain submits apology in the Supreme Court.
LONDON: Muttahida Qaum Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Monday submitted an unconditional apology for his December 2 remarks against the judiciary, Dunya News reported.
The written apology was submitted by Barrister Farogh Naseem, the counsel for MQM.
In response, the Supreme Court accepted Altaf Hussain`s apology and dismissed the contempt notice issued to him.
The apex court on Dec 14 had contempt notice to Altaf Hussain, who is living in self-exile in London since 1992, over his derogatory remarks against the judiciary.
