Summary Young Doctors Association (YDA) Punjab has called off their strike.
Addressing a press conference at the Services Hospital, Lahore, the YDA offices-bearers Dr Amir and Dr Nasir Abbas on Friday night announced to end their strike and said that the doctors will resume their duties at 8am today (Saturday).
To a question about Gujranwala incident, they said that cases should be registered against those who are involved in torturing doctors.
Talking about service structure for doctors, the YDA offices-bearers gave six days to the government for acceptance of their demands. They also warned that they will launch a severe protest if their demands were not met.
