Hillary Clinton calls on Army Chief Kayani

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has called on Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani. Views were exchanged on ongoing military offensive against terrorists in South Waziristan during the meeting, reported Dunya News on Thursday.According to sources, Pak Armys concerns over Kerry-Lugar Bill also came under discussion during the meeting between the Army Chief and US secretary of State held in Army General Headquarters Rawalpindi. Issues relating to enhancing bilateral defence cooperation, defence aid to Pakistan from US, security situation in the region especially at Pak-Afghan border and Pakistans recent offensive against Taliban and al-Qaeda militants in South Waziristan were discussed in the meeting.
