US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton held a meeting with former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Mian Sharif in CM House Lahore on Thursday. Clinton assured her countrys full support to Pakistan in every crisis.The current political and regional security situation of the country in the backdrop of recent terror spate, the US-led war against terrorism, the ongoing military offensive against Taliban and al-Qaida in South Waziristan and the US aid for Pakistan in connection with Kerry-Lugar bill dominated the talks. Mian Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan was in a state of war and urged the United States to remove concerns of Pakistani people on US policies and Kerry-Lugar Bill. US special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Richard Holbrooke, US ambassador to Pakistan Anne W. Patterson, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Dar and Khawaja Asif were also present during the meeting.
