Summary Information Minister says government is making efforts to remove deprivations of South Punjab.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a School in Kharian on Saturday‚ Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that the government is making efforts to remove deprivations of the people of South Punjab, adding that demand of the province of South Punjab is due to deprivations of the people of the area.
The Minister said establishment of South Punjab province is the principle stand of Pakistan People’s Party.
He said federal government is continuing its help to the flood affected people.
He said on-going development projects of South Punjab will be completed on priority basis.
Qamar Zaman Kaira said without obtaining modern knowledge‚ we cannot achieve our real goal. He said developed nations are ahead of us due to focus on modern education.
