All contract employees of Punjab made permanent

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif approved to make permanent more than 150,000 contract employees in Punjab, Dunya News reported Tuesday. The decision was made in a meeting held today with the Punjab CM in the chair.Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif said that sword hanging on poor employees had been removed and they would receive all the benefits of permanent employees. He vowed to outline a transparent mechanism to relieve overburdened Punjab Public Service Commission. Talking about NFC award, he said the provincial government wished that countrys resources be equally shared among all the provinces.
