Change in US stance after stern reaction on K-L bill

A shift in The United States attitude has begun after stern reaction on Kerry-Lugar Bill across Pakistan as the US on Tuesday said Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshis tour to Washington was an opportunity to address Pakistans apprehensions over the much criticized US aid bill. According to a statement issued by the US embassy in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is expected to meet top officials of Obama administration and members of US congress while the Kerry-Lugar bill would come under discussion during these meetings. The embassy further said that the tour would help remove concerns about relations between Pakistan and US and long-term partnership between the two countries.
