A probe team was formed under Deputy Inspector General Investigation Manzoor Mughal.One year later in 2008, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ascended the helm of affairs and registered another FIR on behalf of Benazir at the directives of the court under Section A-22 of Police Order 2002.
