Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said Wednesday that President Zardari and Army Chief General Kayani had been taken into confidence over Kerry-Lugar Bill. Addressing the National Assembly session, Prime Minster Gilani vowed to develop consensus over the bill and said, Kerry-Lugar Bill is neither our contract nor we are bound to accept it. The bill has been passed by US parliament so far. PM Gilani said President Obama was also listening to Pakistani parliament and had not yet signed the draft owing to Pakistani reservations. He reiterated that the present military leadership was pro-democracy, adding that nobody would be given access to Pakistans nuclear assets.
