Report of a British laboratory regarding imported Australian sheep has been presented in Sindh High Court, according to which they are not suffering from any disease.A two-member bench of Sindh High Court comprising Justice Maqbool Baqir and Justice Naimatullah heard the case about the Australian sheep.The head of medical board, Dr Rafiq Khanani said before the court the meat of the Australian sheep is not injurious to health.National Veterinary Laboratory, Islamabad had declared the sheep free from illness, however, Sindh Poultry Vaccination Lab and Tandujam Lab had confirmed that certain disease has affected the sheep.It merits mentioning here that the court ordered to test blood samples of 102 sheep from a famous laboratory of London and present the report.After presentation of the report, the court adjourned hearing of the case till October 17.
