A deadline given by the security forces to tribal elders in Bajaur Agency has expired and preparations are in full swing to launch a grand operation in the area, Dunya News reported on Monday. The six-day deadline was given to the elders of tehsil Mamond of Bajaur Agency last week asking them to hand over the militants and criminals to the security forces. According to sources, since the deadline is over, security forces have started to prepare for the operation. A large number of people are migrating from the area. An important Jirga of Mamond tribes is being held today which will take important decisions on the issue.
