The speakers also demanded to end ties with the US and halt extension of the US embassy in Islamabad.In this regard, Hurmat e Rasool rally organised by Defence of Pakistan Council started from Islamic Centre at Ring Road and culminated near Spain Mosque at University Road.The organizers had a plan to take the rally to the Jamrood Phatak but the administration bounded the protestors to remain within a limited area.All the main roads particularly leading to US consulate were blocked by huge containers and thorny wires in order to avoid any untoward incident.During this, all the government departments and academic institutions remained closed while general flow of traffic had been jammed causing tremendous problems for citizens.While addressing the rally, DPC Chairman Maulana Samiul Haq said that the crusade wars started after such mean and cheap tactics committed by the West.Hafiz Saeed said that the sanctity of the Great Prophet is the main issue in the world, adding that disrespect to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the biggest terrorism.JI chief Syed Munawar said that the US has imposed war against Pakistan in the name of terrorism; the rulers should take proper measures to come out of this war.On the other hand, former deputy speaker of KP Assembly and General Secretary Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) Ikramullah Shahid has announced a $200,000 bounty for the maker of the anti-Islam film released in the US.Ikramullah Shahid made the offer at a Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) rally on Monday in Peshawar. “We will award $200,000 to anyone who kills the filmmaker,” he said.This offer comes after Federal Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour earlier offer of $100,000 bounty for the filmmaker behind the disrespectful film.Muslims across the world have held protests rallies against the film demanding Google to block the video or pull it down from YouTube altogether.
