US Deputy Ambassador to Pakistan, Gerald Festine has claimed that Osama bin Laden was alive; Mullah Umer and Taliban leaders were present in Quetta and surrounding areas. Talking to media in Islamabad, the US official said that according to intelligence sources, Osama was living near Pak-Afghan border and he had no operational capability. Gerald said that US was in full contact with Pakistan government and news about drone attacks on Balochistan was groundless. On the hand, Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik denied the statement made by US official.
