Summary The Interior Ministry has announced to suspend mobile phone services on Friday.
According to the ministry, mobile phone services will remain suspended in major cities of the country including Lahore and Karachi from 9am to 11pm as a precaution to avert any untoward incident during countrywide protest called by the government against the release of anti-Islam film.The government had announced a public holiday to observe Youme Ishq-e-Rasool (Day of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)’s love) across the country on September 21 (Friday).
