Summary A senior civil judge of Islamabad has reserved judgment on the delay of challan in Rimsha case.
The court resumed the hearing of the case and the investigating officer requested the court for more time to submit challan.The court was informed that on its directions‚ an officer of the rank of SSP has been entrusted the responsibility to investigate the matter.Rao Abdul Rahim, the counsel for the accuser reminded the court that the police had already asked the court to grant it more time to submit the challan and that the court had directed for an incomplete challan to be submitted during its previous hearing.The petitioner’s counsel informed the court that his client was being threatened by the IG Islamabad. He requested the court to restrain the police from harassing his client.
