Summary MQM leaders expressed deep sorrow over the Baldia Town incident in meeting.
The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) members of provincial and National Assembly announced to donate their one-month salary to the relatives of the victims who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident of fire that broke out at a factory in Baldia Town.According to a statement issued by MQM after a joint session, all the senators, members of national and provincial assemblies decided to donate their one month salary.Terming the incident a national tragedy, the leaders expressed deep sorrow over the incident that took lives of more than 260 people and expressed sympathy with the grief stricken families.They also prayed for the departed souls and speedy recovery of the workers who sustained injuries in the incident and are currently being treated at hospitals.
