Summary Families of missing persons held protest as UN mission on missing persons Saturday arrived Quetta.
The Supreme Court is already investigating the cases of missing people in Balochistan province.A six-member team of the United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances arrived in Quetta on Saturday, Dunya News reported.The working group will meet with the relatives of the missing as well as with leaders of several political and nationalist parties.The high-level delegation led by Olivier de Frouville will stay in Pakistan until September 20 to study the measures adopted by the state to prevent and eradicate enforced disappearances, including issues related to truth, justice and reparation for the victims of enforced disappearances.
