Summary Supreme Court has extended date to arrest Malik Riaz till September 20 in anti corruption case.
Two-member bench comprising Justice Aijaz Afzel and Justice Aijaz Chaurdhry conducted hearing of the case.The Supreme Court had directed the Lahore High Court to complete hearing of the case till September 15, with the order that Malik Riaz should not be arrested till then.Barrister Aitzaz, the counsel for Malik Riaz, appeared in the court and said that the Lahore High Court had given four days to the private complainant but he is not being given two days in this regard.While praying to the court, Aitzaz requested to extend the date to dispose of the case.While reviewing learned counsel’s stance, the court order to extend the date till September 20.
