Solid evidences needed to prosecute Hafiz Saeed: Gilani

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that Pakistan would not allow any terrorist to use its territory for terrorism. Talking to media during a ceremony arranged for second day of Eid in Circuit House Multan, the PM said that Pakistan wanted to have good relations with its neighbours on equal basis and process of investigations about Hafiz Saeed was transparent and clean. He said that Hafiz Saeed was under arrest. The Parliament is sovereign, all the parties are working together to make it stronger and PPP wants to promote politics of reconciliation, Gilani maintained. If PPP and PML-N had not shunned fighting, the country could not have attained growth, the PM said. Combine efforts were needed to get out of ongoing crises, the PM emphasized. Accountability should be held and an accountability bill would be moved in the Parliament soon, Gilani revealed. Baloch peoples sense of grievance would be eliminated, he said. At least 1 million low-priced houses were being built in the country, he added.
