Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Wednesday said only the parliament could decide Pervez Musharrafs fate, adding that if the former president was tried under article 6 of the constitution then President Asif Ali Zardari could exonerate him. Addressing an Iftaar dinner hosted in honor of senior journalists in Islamabad, PM Gilani observed that only a single person could not be held responsible under article 6 of the constitution, people who implement the decisions should also be considered accountable, however, all the problems would only be resolved in the parliament. He maintained that the Kashmir cause would not be harmed due to internal sovereignty of Gilgit-Baltistan. Gilani vowed to make an announcement on NFC award and constitutional reforms soon. The prime minister said the country could not afford to have mid-term elections. On rental power plants issue, he said the cabinets decision in this regard would be final. Gilani said the parliament could order investigations into Zulfiqar Ali Bhuttos death. He further said that US drone attacks were intrusion in Pakistans sovereignty.
