Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has telephoned Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and directed him to conduct investigations into the Samberyal incident, reported Dunya News. A church was allegedly torched in Samberyal on blasphemy charges two days ago. The PM showed concern over the incident and asked the CM to find out the reasons behind the incident. The Premier maintained that a commission should be formed to probe into the incident, adding that culprits should be brought to book. He asserted that reputation of Pakistan suffered across the world due to such incidents. The rights of the minorities should be taken special care of, the PM said. CM Shahbaz told that some miscreants were trying to create anarchy in the province. He informed that taking the stern action of the incident, Punjab Government had formed an Investigation Committee which would bring out the facts soon.
