Former President Pervez Musharraf believes Pakistan should be provided with the drone technology to fight terrorism. In an interview with a foreign news channel Musharraf maintained Pakistanis couldnt tolerate Talibanization in their homeland. He doubted that Osama Bin Laden was alive saying that Bin Laden was a patient who used to have dialysis. Former president stressed that Pakistan had always been an ally of the West while India never did so. Pakistan was an ally of the West till 1989. It supported US against Soviet Union but the West left Pakistan alone after 1989, Musharraf added. He opined former American president George Bush was a sincere person. Former president deemed that President Obama had been praised in Islamic world on his announcement to improve relations with the Muslims. Now the Islamic world is waiting for Obamas steps to promote the better relations between them and the US, Musharraf concluded.
