Summary Pakistan and India are holding one-day technical talks on electricity trade on Thursday.
The Pakistani side is headed by Joint Secretary Zargham Ishak an d Joint Secretary Rita Acharia is representing the Indian side.The two sides would initiate talks how to build infrastructure for import of 500MW electricity.The World Bank had already agreed to fund the infrastructure to be laid down for the import and export of electricity between the two countries.
