Summary Patients from the far-flung areas are facing severe difficulties in medical assistance.

The doctors in government and private hospitals of Quetta are observing a strike on the call of Pakistan Medical Association, Balochistan chapter against the kidnapping of a doctor of Bolan Medical Complex.Psychiatrist Dr Ghulam Rasool of BMC hospital was kidnapped from Brewery Road on Wednesday.In protest against the incident, the doctors have boycotted their duties at emergency wards and outdoor patient departments (OPDs) of the hospitals.The doctors have vowed to continue protest until recovery of Dr Rasool.
