Pakistan Sugar Mill Association (PSMA) has declared that sugar cannot be sold for Rs40/Kg while on the other hand Mian Manzoor Wattoo said that mill owners should accept the order of the court if production price of sugar was less. PSMA President Sikandar Khan said in the committee meeting that the courts decision was one-sided and political, and it could not be implemented. It was contempt of court or any other thing, he would face it. Federal Food Minister Nazar Muhammad Gondal said that there was no sugar crisis in the country. He said that sugar mill owners did not inform about the actual production price of sugar. Manzoor Wattoo said in the committee statement, that the government was taking care of people and sugar mills were also not enemies of them. He said that special session of Cabinet would be held tomorrow on sugar issue.
