A landlord unleashed dogs on a fisherman who refused to give his catch for free in Jalalpur Pirwala on Tuesday, reported Dunya News. Fisherman lost an eye in the tyrannical assault after which police arrested the culprit. In surrounding area of Khan Bela, fisherman Abdul Ghaffars family members told Dunya News that a local landlord Ghulam Qadar asked for the free fish. On Ghaffars refusal he unleashed dogs on him on Tuesday morning when he went for fishing. Ghaffar received severe injuries on his face and was shifted to Nashtar Hospital Multan. Talking to Dunya News about the incident human rights activist Farzana Bari said that media and human rights organizations must ensure that justice is done in these cases and culprits get punished so that the police and judiciary know that we are not insensitive or unaware. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has promised free treatment for the victim.
