Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Central Executive Organizing Committee Chairman, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday has said that judges issue was resolved by the people, adding that public would have to resolve their problems in future as well. He further said that if a settlement had been made in 1977, the country could have evaded eleven years of dictatorship. Addressing a meeting of PML-N in Bhurban, Nawaz Sharif maintained that the country is moving backwards instead of progressing, adding that the current tempo would not help alleviate poverty, unemployment and inflation. He said no nation could prosper without punishing the culprits and underlined the need to establish a strong justice system. The system of might is right has been in place for 35 years, the constitution has been abrogated like a mere piece of paper he added. The PML-N Leader maintained that the government had promised to restore the judges but the people came on roads to accomplish the task themselves. He vowed to avoid horse trading whether they get power or not.
