Summary At least nine people were killed in incidence of violence in different parts of Karachi.
Wave of target killing continues in Karachi as nine more people, including two police officials were killed in different areas of the city.According to details, some unidentified persons shot dead a man in Doli Khata area near Light House. The deceased Waheed was stated to be activist of a political party while a dead body of AVCC official, Faisal, was recovered from Dhobi Ghat area.In another incident of firing in front of Orangi Police Station, Inspector Fazal Mahmood was shot dead. In Baldia Ittehad, a woman was killed due to domestic dispute.Some unidentified persons shot dead a man in Ranchore Line area while body of Akram Khan was found in SITE area.Some unidentified persons opened fire near Juman Shah shrine in jurisdiction of Police Station Kala Kot in Lyari and shot dead a person named Qasim. A man was also shot dead in Golimar area while a man was injured in firing incident in Katti Pahari. The residents of the area staged a protest after the incident and torched a motorcycle.Meanwhile Rangers launched a targeted operation and arrested four suspects while police have arrested an accused, Furqan, involved in killing nine people.
