Taking action on the news flashed by Dunya News, the federal government has suspended registration of 12 pharmaceutical factories for producing substandard drugs.The Central Drug Testing Laboratory has confirmed report about 30 substandard drugs. The chemical composition of these drugs was not up to prescribed standard.Meanwhile, National Regulation ministry has summoned 18 pharmaceutical factories on report of substandard drugs while it has suspended registration of 12 pharmaceutical factories.
