CM has no authority to appoint LHC judges: Taseer

Governor Punjab Salman Taseer said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has not authority to appoint the judges of the Lahore High Court. Chief Ministers recommended names have been forwarded to the president for the approval. Talking to media in Alhamra Art Gallery Lahore, Taseer said that the Army has defeated the militants with the help of all the political parties but complete success would take one or two years. Replying a question regarding the media committee of PML-N, the governor said that everybody has the right to defend the accusations.
