Summary The federal cabinet has decided that load shedding will be uniformly carried out in all provinces.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf chaired the session of federal cabinet on Wedneday.In the meeting, it was told by the Ministry of Water and Power that the power production was increased while the shortfall further reduced to 3,500 MW.The meeting decided that there would be no load shedding at Taraveeh‚ Sehar and Iftar timings during Ramazan.The cabinet was apprised that additional 2,000 MW of electricity will be added in the national grid by the end of this year.
